One-Legged King Pigeon Pose - Eka Pada Rajakapotasana

I’ve not did yoga for 29 years. I became ill and obese and then a dream from my old coach and slowly I began with only 5 mins of day of yoga because it was all I could do. I could barely walk without pain, had high blood pressure and other chronic problems and on 2/17/2017 I decided to give myself the best gift of all and that was yoga and I committed every day. This pose is special to me because I couldn’t remember any of it anymore and lost the path to get back to it. After a few months of practice and looking at awesome yoga poses I was so surprised because my body just knew what to do. My entire practice I’ve come to learn that although my mind was blank but my body remembered in this photo it was the first day I tried Mermaid and I was happy and my daughter too this picture you can see it looks like a long lost love relationship that is being reunited it is so beautiful to me.
