Working wellI have used this mat for about 24 classes so far and it is holding up. Not as dense as some mats. I have found one side is soft foam and the other side has a thin layer of more dense foam, which I use as the up side, so when you plant your feet the foam does not distort as much. I have aired it out in the sun and it does seem to tear easily if hot and pliable, but other than that, it is great for my 6'2" frame. Great price also.
Yoga MatI really am enjoying the mat. I am a taller person so the length is great. If you are a person that is use to thicker mats you may need extra padding because the mat is pretty thin. All in all I am happy with my purchase.
This is a great mat!I am 6'1 and needed a mat long enough to accommodate me. This mat is long enough and the 1/4 thickness feels wonderful! I can still feel the floor, which helps me feel grounded, but it's far more comfortable than standard mats. I have heard people complain about the smell of new yoga mats. Of course, this smells pretty strong when you first open it, but the smell dissipates rather quickly. Just unroll it and leave it for a day or two and it will be fine.
Great mat!This mat is perfect. It is soft enough to make a cement floor less painful.
Perfect for those of us with length of leg...Great, great, great. I'm 6'2'', and this mat is perfectly long enough. I was tired of stepping off and on to the surface below, so I thought there just HAD to be something else out there...BINGO!
So, tallies - do try...it's nice, thick, and grippy. And the price is pretty darn good too! :)
