Great productLightweight, funtional, reasonably priced. I have a thick regular sized mat and it fits fine. I can also fit a small towel on top and close the drawstring closer. The pocket can fit some spare cash or a washcloth bu thats about it. So far durably made. Love the pattern and color ( i have purple).
Very poor quality!After one use (yes, 1! I'm not exaggerating) the strap on this bag ripped and broke off from the main part of the bag where it attaches at the top. I am thoroughly disgusted that I spent any money on this at all. I certainly don't expect my yoga mat bag to last years and years but it's completely unacceptable workmanship if the bag falls apart after only one use. I will never purchase another item by this brand again. Unfortunately, I bought the bag several months ago and only just used it now so can no longer return it for a refund. Look elsewhere if you value your money at all.
Why is it drawstring??Yoga bag looks nice and my mat fits... sort of... with a little convincing. However, what bugs me the most is that there is no zipper! The mat 'hole' is on the top and is only a drawstring, so shoving a sticky mat in there can be a little tricky, especially if you have a thicker mat. I'd probably stick with the zippered bages that open on the size in the future, but the mesh is a nice touch and it theoretically can be collapsed into a sqaure the size of a table napkin. Although I can't think of a reason that you'd ever want to do this, given that the purpose of the bag is to hold your mat.
hard to insert and take outI bought the purple one and the color is much brighter than expected. It's not as pretty as in the picture - the print looks sort of tacky in my opinion - and my yoga mat sticks to the inside of the bag, making it difficult to insert or take it out. The bag is roomy enough to accommodate a thicker mat (0.125 inches thick, unrolled), but due to the texture it doesn't slide in and out easily.
Great for the price!This bag is perfect for travelling to and from class. I have a deluxe mat, and have no trouble fitting it in this particular bag. The strap is wide and comfortable, and the color is stylish. If you're looking for a bag with pockets for keys, straps, etc., this is not the one for you. But if you're looking for something basic (and cute!), definitely give this one consideration.
