| A MasterworkI had the pleasure of seeing Russil a couple of years ago in North Carolina. He is a master of sound both in person and especially in his recordings. I have listened to a wide range of music and this CD from Russil is one of THE most significant and powerful mystical recordings I have ever heard. His voice and playing are masterful and he really polishes his recordings to a shine.

ShabdaThis was my third Russill Paul CD, I am a fan. I find that his music is perfect for yoga, meditation, or just relaxing. This man is incredibly talented, his vocal ability is astounding. I read his essay on the Yoga of Sound and it is absolute truth. I felt the effects before I read the essay, if that says anything. This is music for yoga and the spiritual messages (in Sanskrit)are uplifting. While the instruments played are traditional to India, there is a fusion of modern as well. It will not disappoint the Purist. These ancient chants are a soothing link to the wisdom of the past.
Shabda, Mantra MysticismThis is a wonderful, healing CD! I have learned several of the mantras, and their meanings. I especially enjoy the written pronunciations and translations. For reasons I cannot explain, even my cats enjoy listening to this!
